Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered an investigation into all of the state’s hotels, dhabas, restaurants, and eateries to verify the purity of their food, taking cognizance of incidents of the adulteration of “juice, dal and roti” with human waste and other harmful substances across the country. He instructed for “strict action” to be taken against those found guilty.
The Chief Minister reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards those who mix human waste or other unwholesome materials into food products. Severe penalties will be imposed on operators found guilty of such practices.
