Following a notice from the Centre, YouTube has removed a controversial episode of comedian Samay Raina's 'India's Got Latent' show in which popular podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia made obscene jokes, igniting massive backlash and multiple complaints against him alleging vulgarity.
Allahbadia, who has 10.5 million subscribers on his BeerBiceps channel and 4.5 million followers on Instagram, sparked controversy after he asked a contestant on India's Got Latent, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
The question triggered immediate backlash, with many demanding stricter regulations on online content.
