On May 20 Chinese tech company Xiaomi opened its Mi Home offline store in Bengaluru. It claimed that its first-day sales are a milestone in India’s offline smartphone industry. The company also plans to open 100 more stores in India in next 2 years. Its product Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 reportedly became the highest shipped smartphone in Q1 2017.
