West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she would have quit politics much earlier if she was aware that it could get so dirty and her family and she would face slander. Her statement comes in reaction to a recent PIL filed at Calcutta High Court demanding probe by central agencies into the assets of her family members.
