Suggesting that all hope was not lost as far as re-establishing communication with Chandryaan 2’s lander Vikram was concerned, Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) chief K Sivan said that scientists will continue to contact Vikram which had a life of a lunar day which translates into 14 earth days.
"Right now the communication with Vikram lander is lost, we will try to establish a link for the next 14 days. The last portion was not executed the right way, in that phase only we lost the link with the Lander, and could not establish communication subsequently," Sivan said.
