Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said he will file a defamation case against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh for accusing him of corruption. He had earlier refuted Singh's allegations and said he made the claims to "save himself". Singh claimed that Deshmukh had given suspended police officer Sachin Vaze a "target" of accumulating ₹100 crore per month.
