In order to get the latest feature, a user is required to install the 2.20.50.25 iOS beta update from TestFlight for iOS users and 2.20.133 beta from Google Play for Android users. If any of the group members fail to download the latest beta versions of the app, he will fail to be a part of the group video chat.
