The psychology department of Punjab University has conducted an online survey across the country, in which more than 400 people from 12 states have participated. In the lockdown implemented due to the global pandemic Coronavirus, a survey was carried out to know the mood and mentality of the countrymen. To get information about this, Professor Seema Vinayak, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, has done this unique survey.

The survey revealed that people are very strong emotionally and mentally even in this difficult time. The survey has also revealed that the elderly are most happy with the lockdown. However, no information has been revealed in this survey about domestic violence.

An online survey was conducted by the Psychology Department of Punjab University of Chandigarh from April 5 to 9 across the country. People started engaging with this survey from 6 April. Professor Seema Vinayak, based on the survey, said that in this environment too, the spirits of the countrymen are very high and they have positive thinking to fight the epidemic.
