West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced extension of the lockdown in the state till July 31 to contain the spread of COVID-19. "This is in order to help the entire nation. Our relaxations will continue. Schools, colleges and universities will remain shut till July 31," she added. The ongoing lockdown was supposed to end on June 30.
