Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Sunday called for the President's rule in violence-hit Manipur as he took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the conflict between tribals and members of the dominant Meitei community which has led to arson and chaos in the northeastern state.
The Congress leader claimed the voters of the state are feeling 'grossly betrayed' just a year after voting the BJP back into power.
