Vodafone Idea has paid Rs.2,500 crore to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) as a part of AGR dues on Monday and will pay Rs. 1,000 crore more by Friday, reports said. Vodafone has to pay over Rs. 50,000 crore to the government in dues. Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel on Monday paid Rs. 10,000 crore to DoT as part payment of its AGR dues.
