Renowned director, actor, screenwriter, lyricist, producer and dialogue writer CV Shivashankar died of a heart attack on June 27 in Bengaluru. He is survived by his wife and two sons. He was 90 years old. According to reports, Shivashankar collapsed at his Bengaluru home after performing puja. He was taken to the nearby hospital for immediate treatment. However, he didn't respond to the treatment.
