Renowned director and producer Tatineni Rama Rao (T Rama Rao) breathed his last in the wee hours of April 20, 2022, in Chennai. He was admitted to a private hospital for age-related illness. He was 83 years old. Rama Rao's family members informed the news of his demise with a statement. His final rites will take place today (April 20) evening in Chennai.
