Actor Varun Dhawan will portray the role of Param Vir Chakra recipient, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, in a biopic directed by Sriram Raghavan. "Playing a soldier has always been my dream. This is the most important film of my career and I'm excited to work with Sriram again", Varun said in a statement. Khetarpal was martyred at the age of 21 during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War and was honoured with Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military award, posthumously.
