Uttarakhand Congress MLA from Purola, Rajkumar, joined the BJP at the party's office in Delhi on Sunday.He joined the party in the presence of Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Uttarakhand BJP president Madan Kaushik.MLA Rajkumar was quoted by ANI as saying, "The BJP is working towards making people from the lower castes independent, while Congress has made these people dependent on subsidies since Independence. I've joined the party today after seeing BJP's great work in Uttarakhand."
