According to Reuters, fatalities increased by over 1,000 for four days in a row in the US last week. It is worth mentioning that five US state in the South and West reported record death figures and cases in Texas pass the 4 lakh-mark. As of now, the United States has registered nearly 1.5 lakh deaths and 43 lakh cases since the virus was first detected in the country.
