The Panchayat of Madora village in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district on Wednesday decided to penalise girls who use mobiles while walking on the street. The Panchayat members decided a fine of ₹21,000 on such girls in order to reduce the rate of crime against girls and elopement. Apart from the penalty, the Panchayat would also decide a requisite punishment.
