Uttar Pradesh government has decided to reopen schools for students of Classes 6 to 8 from August 23 and Classes 1 to 5 from September 1. This comes days after the schools reopened for students of Classes 9 to 12 on Monday with 50% attendance and "strict COVID-19 protocol in place" in the state.
