Uttar Pradesh on Thursday reported 22,439 new coronavirus cases, the state's highest single-day rise since the outbreak of the pandemic. The state currently has 1,29,848 active COVID-19 cases, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said. So far, total 1,00,51,328 people have been administered the COVID-19 vaccine in Uttar Pradesh, Prasad added.
