As many as 64,170 human rights violation cases were lodged in the country by NHRC till October 31 this year, with the most 24,242 cases recorded in Uttar Pradesh, MHA said citing NHRC data. It's the third straight year that UP recorded the most human rights violation cases. Uttar Pradesh recorded 41,947 cases in 2018 and 32,693 cases in 2019.
