Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi passed away due to COVID-19 at the age of 65. He had tested positive for the virus on September 11 and was initially asymptomatic. He was later admitted to the COVID-19 facility at the AIIMS Trauma Centre where he passed away. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
