At least eight people have been killed and nine were wounded by the Russian shelling, an adviser to the Ukrainian minister of internal affairs said on Thursday (Feb 24) as Russia has launched massive air and ground assault on the neighbouring country. An adviser in President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office said Ukrainian armed forces are fighting hard in the face of the massive Russian artillery bombardment of infrastructure facilities.
