Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Tuesday said UK returnees have to compulsorily undergo COVID-19 test on arrival in India. "We decided that RT-PCR test done 72 hours ahead of travelling wasn't enough. So we made it compulsory to test again on arrival," said Puri, adding, "We will review the situation if any steps have to be taken."
