British Tory Prime Minister Theresa May's gamble has delivered her Labour rival Jeremy Corbyn's finest hour. The results of the general election, called three years early, show Corbyn has restored the Labour party as an electoral force to reckon with, all but returned the United Kingdom to a two-party system, and effectively crippled May's authority. The British PM, however has shown no inclination to resign and is trying to form a minority government with the help of Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP). The DUP said it would engage with May, an indication that no deal had yet been done, though May had sought Queen Elizabeth's permission to form government. The price of DUP support was unclear.
