The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its visa-on-arrival programme for Indian nationals, effective February 13, by including six more countries in the eligibility list. This move allows more Indian travelers to access visa-on-arrival facilities at UAE entry points.

Indian citizens holding valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada are now eligible for visa-on-arrival in the UAE.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the visa-on-arrival, Indian travelers must meet the following conditions:

 

Hold a valid ordinary passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of arrival.

Possess a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from any of the eligible countries.

Pay the required visa fee upon arrival at UAE immigration checkpoints.

Visa Fees and Duration

The UAE has set the following visa fees for eligible Indian travelers:

14-day visa: Dh100 (approx. Rs 2,270)

14-day extension: Dh250 (approx. Rs 5,670)

60-day visa: Dh250 (approx. Rs 5,670)
