Twitter on Tuesday said it has appointed an interim Chief Compliance Officer for India. The details of the official will be shared directly with the IT Ministry soon, it added. The government had earlier issued "one last notice" to Twitter to immediately comply with the new IT rules and said it would be liable for consequences if it didn't comply.
