A Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker was shot dead in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district on Saturday. The victim, Ziarul Molla, was found lying with a bullet injury on the side of a road in a village in Basanti. The victim's family believe that his political affiliations led to his death, according to the police.
