The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday extended COVID-19 curbs till October 31 and allowed physical classes for standards 1-8 to resume from November 1. The decision was taken based on a review meeting held with health experts, the government said. All places of worship would remain closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, it added.
