The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Tirupati Laddu prasadam case has temporarily suspended its investigation until October 3, as per instructions from the Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP), Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.
The development comes a day after the Supreme Court pulled up the Andhra Pradesh government for going public with its claim that animal fat was allegedly used in making Tirupati laddus under the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy regime.
