Telangana government has sacked around 48,000 employees and workers of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation after they launched an indefinite strike demanding solution to their long-pending problems. They had demanded the merger of the corporation with the government so that they become government employees. The employees also called for fresh recruitment in the corporation to reduce workload.
