OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had to urge ChatGPT users to slow down as the Ghibli trend took over the internet. This came days after the overwhelming usage of ChatGPT's latest image generator, powered by the GPT 4o, caused a server load at OpenAI, which slowed down the company's service.
As the trend exploded, Sam Altman posted on X, asking users to "please chill on generating images," calling the demand "insane" and saying that the "team needs sleep."
