After months of testing and usage by select firms and under the pilot project, the Tata Tigor has officially entered the Indian Market but it is available only to the taxi segment that means only for commercial purpose. It is available in two variants XM and Xt trims.

Price:

The final ex-showroom price of the Tata Tigor Electric is after including incentives from the FAME II scheme, which amount to up to Rs 1.62 lakh. Basically, the XM trim costs Rs 9.99 lakh, while the XT trim costs Rs 10.90 lakh. Without the incentives, these would have cost Rs 11.61 lakh and Rs 11.71 lakh for the XM and XT trims, respectively.

Color:

The Tata Tigor Electric is available in three exterior color options – white, blue and silver.

Features:

  1. Both the variants offer dual front airbags, ABS, front seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert and rear parking sensors.
  2. Between the two trims of the Tata Tigor Electric, the XT version additionally features 14-inch alloy wheels and powered outside rearview mirrors.
  3. Both the trims get 89-litre of lesser boot space than the fossil fuel-powered version, which is owing to the usage of the electric powertrain.
  4. The features list of both the trims of the Tata Tigor Electric includes climate control, LED tail lights, height-adjustable driver’s seat, electric windows and a Harman-sourced 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity.
  5. The battery pack can be charged to 80 per cent in 6 hours through a regular AC well socket, while the same charge can be obtained in just 15 minutes on usage of a 15kW fast charger. The Tigor EV is being sold with a 3-year/1.25 lakh km warranty.
  6. Powering the Tata Tigor Electric is a 72V, 3-phase AC induction motor that outputs 41 hp at 4,500 rpm and 105 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The motor draws power from a 12 kWh battery pack and is claimed to offer a driving range of 142 km on a single charge.
