Maruti's parent Suzuki will start making electric cars in India from 2020, in collaboration with fellow Japanese Toyota, as the two companies prepare for the government's ambitious plan to migrate the entire automotive fleet by the cleaner fuel by 2030. The companies, which in February had signed a MoU to consider business partnership for electric vehicle products and technologies, said the agreement has been reached on the way forward.
