The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition seeking the removal of the words "Socialism" and "Secularism" from the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. The petition was filed by former Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy, advocate Ashwini Upadhyay, and one Balram Singh.
