The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a plea by Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee and his wife against the Enforcement Directorate (ED)'s summons to them in a case related to an alleged scam in teacher recruitment in West Bengal.
The Trinamool MP and his wife Rujira Banerjee are facing a money laundering probe by the central agency, which has accused them of being involved in a scam worth crores of rupees related to teacher recruitment in West Bengal schools.
