The Supreme Court Collegium, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, on Thursday, recommended to the Centre two names, one of them a senior advocate, for elevation as judges to the top court.
Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, currently the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court, and senior advocate KV Viswanathan's name has been recommended by the Collegium.
