The government on Tuesday rejected Pakistani PM Imran Khan’s offer to investigate the Pulwama attack if India provided proof and said this was a “lame excuse” and his promises of “guaranteed action” rang hollow given Islamabad’s track record, as seen in its inaction in the Mumbai and Pathankot terror attacks.
The government described Pakistan as the nerve-centre of terrorism and accused Khan of misleading the international community after he offered dialogue and expressed readiness to discuss terrorism but didn’t condemn the Pulwama attack which left 40 CRPF men dead.
