The funeral of martyred Lieutenant Umar Fayaz, whose bullet-riddled body was discovered on Wednesday, was attacked by stone pelters, according to reports. Fayaz, a 22-year-old, was abducted by terrorists on Tuesday following which he was shot dead and his body was disposed of in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. An officer said Fayaz had visited Kulgam to attend a family function.
