The government of Gujarat has decided to reopen the schools in the state from February 18, 2021, for students of classes 6 to 8 with several Covid-19 safety measures. Online teaching will continue. All guidelines and Standard Operating Protocols effective for class 9-11 will be effective as well for class 6-8. The government had earlier reopened offline teaching for class 10 and 12 and 9 and 11 in phased manner.
