Stan Wawrinka triumphed against former finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to reach his third Australian Open semi-final. The world number four won by 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, 6-3 for his eighth Grand Slam semi-final appearance. He will now either face Swiss marvel Roger Federer or Germany’s Mischa Zverev. It was not easy for him to play against his opponent.
