Senior SP leader Azam Khan has approached the Supreme Court seeking interim bail to campaign for his party in the upcoming UP polls. He alleged that the government is deliberately delaying proceedings in three remaining bail applications to stop him from participating in the election. He has been lodged in jail since February 2020 in connection to various cases.
