Maharashtra's Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant said that the Maharashtra government will make singing the National Anthem in colleges compulsory. "We are going to start this from February 19 on the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti," the minister said. "The letter regarding the same will be issued to all colleges," he added.
