Arrested former Mumbai Police constable Vinayak Shinde, previously convicted in a fake encounter case, had approached Sachin Vaze for work after being released on parole in May 2020, Maharashtra ATS said. Vaze and Shinde are key conspirators in Mansukh Hiren death case linked to the Antilia bomb scare, it said, adding that Shinde helped Vaze in "all his illegal activities".
