Shadows are lengthening over junior foreign minister M J Akbar’s continuance in the government as the storm over allegations of sexual harassment against him that surfaced as part of the #MeToo campaign refuses to abate.
A call on his continuation in government will be taken after he returns from his foreign tour on Sunday. While there were reports that he would return on Friday, government sources clarified he is in Equatorial Guinea as per his original schedule.
