The Indian markets logged fresh lifetime highs after a strong start on Monday, on the back of firm global cues.
Among the headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex zoomed 500 points and scaled the 52,000 mark for the first time ever while the broader Nifty50 index was testing 15,300.The NSE Nifty index was 0.93% higher at 15,304 in early trade, while BSE Sensex was up 0.94% at 52,030. Both indexes hit record highs in opening trade and the 30-share BSE platform breached the 52,000-mark for first time.
