Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty50 traded over 2% higher on Tuesday, tracking a global relief rally after U.S. President Donald Trump announced exemptions for electronics from steep “reciprocal” tariffs. BSE Sensex surged over 1,600 points, or 2%, to 76,800, while the Nifty50 climbed over 450 points, or 2%, to rise above 23,300.
