Senior IPS officer TP Senkumar took charge as DGP, after a successful 11-month-long legal battle against the LDF government which had removed him from the post. CM Pinarayi Vijayan signed the order reinstating the senior IPS officer as Kerala DGP, hours after the top court dismissed the state’s clarification petition on it’s April 29 order directing his immediate reinstatement.
