The Central Industrial Security Force on Tuesday took over the security of the world's tallest statue, the 'Statue of Unity', in Gujarat's Kevadia. The CISF took over the security with an initial strength of 272 personnel against the total sanctioned strength of 352 personnel. With a height of 182 metres, the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the world's tallest.
