National Institute of Virology (NIV) Director Priya Abraham described the COVID-19 virus as "very pretty" after she first isolated it and saw it under an electron microscope, ICMR chief Dr Balram Bhargava has revealed. Before announcing to the country if SARS-CoV-2 had entered India, the sample was tested repeatedly, Dr Bhargava said, adding that Abraham was 'very nervous' then.
