Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Sunday announced a two-day rain holiday for all educational institutions in four districts of the state affected by heavy rain in the last 24 hours. All educational institutions in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu districts will remain closed on November 8 and 9. Chennai on Saturday witnessed the heaviest single-day rain ever since 2015.
